G & D RA Dinner 2006 |

| The Annual Dinner for the G & D RA was, once
again, held at Grantham College and organised superbly by Anthony Howitt
& Andrew Green. Derek Bray from Lincolnshire FA was the Guest
Speaker and, although he professed not to be an after dinner speaker, he
captivated the audience with his tales of being an FA Liaison Officer,
training anecdotes, and how to succeed by applying humility as a
refereeing characteristic.

Derek is soon off to South Africa to
help build up a referee training structure ready for when South Africa
host the World Cup. Our thanks go to Derek, Anthony, Andrew, and
Emma & her staff at Grantham College for making the night a great
success and a very enjoyable evening.

The G & D RA are very fortunate to have a
